Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Classphere platform — the web application at classphere.com and institute subdomains/custom domains, and the Classphere Android applications — operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME](“Classphere”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an Institute, you confirm you have authority to bind that Institute.
1. The Service
Classphere is a B2B software-as-a-service platform for coaching institutes to conduct, manage, and analyze competitive exam preparation (JEE, NEET, and other exams), including white-labeled institute portals, AI-assisted PDF-to-question extraction, test creation and delivery, and performance analytics.
2. Accounts
2.1 Institute accounts
An Institute administrator sets up and manages the Institute's portal, staff, and student rosters. The Institute is responsible for the accuracy of all data it uploads, including obtaining any consent required by law — such as parental or guardian consent for minor students — before providing that data to Classphere (see our Privacy Policy, Section 4).
2.2 Staff and student accounts
Staff and student accounts are provisioned by the Institute, not through self-registration. Students log in using their phone number and date of birth. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact your Institute administrator immediately.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform to facilitate cheating, exam malpractice, or unauthorized sharing of exam content
- Share your login credentials with another person, or access another user's account without authorization
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the platform's underlying software or datasets
- Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that infringes another party's intellectual property
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation or security
4. Content and Intellectual Property
Exam papers, questions, and other content uploaded by an Institute remain the property of the Institute (or its underlying rights-holder). By uploading content, the Institute grants Classphere a license to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the Service. The Classphere platform itself — including its software, design, and the outputs of its analysis engine — is owned by Classphere and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
5. AI-Assisted Content
Our AI-assisted extraction pipeline converts uploaded PDFs into structured questions. This process can occasionally introduce errors (for example, in question text, options, or answer keys). Institutes and their staff are responsible for reviewing and approving extracted content before it is published to students.
6. Fees and Billing
Institutes are billed according to the plan and pricing terms agreed with Classphere (for example, a per-student or flat annual rate). Some Institutes may currently be on a free trial. Online payment processing is not yet fully available on the platform; where applicable, billing terms will be confirmed directly with each Institute, and this section will be updated once online payments are enabled.
7. Third-Party Services
The platform relies on third-party infrastructure providers described in our Privacy Policy to operate (hosting, storage, error monitoring, AI processing, and push notifications).
8. Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” Classphere does not guarantee any particular exam score, ranking, or admission outcome. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted or analyzed content will always be accurate.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Classphere will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the fees paid by the relevant Institute in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an Institute's access to the Service as agreed in that Institute's commercial arrangement with Classphere, or where these Terms are materially breached. Data handling after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and will notify Institutes of material changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [JURISDICTION / CITY].
